Cinematography.. such a lengthy word. Why don't just call it videos??
Well, because our work is not just any videos. It is not just a recording of the day.
Each of our scenes is shot and edited carefully to emphasise the emotions contained within each frames. The lighting, colours, and music, are all meticulously curated to deliver a unique, highly personalised love story, crafted just for you.

Our films tells your unique story as 2 lovers intertwined in love, but our focus is still to keep everything real and genuine. Nothing too posed or artificial!
Although we do require some posed shots here and there, the main thing is to capture the genuine emotion and atmosphere from the day. Our priority is to create an art piece that allows you and the whole family to relive your big day time and time again, many years in the future.
Similar to our photographic works, in order to best preserve your memories, our approach is to feature the natural colours of the day in the film - with slight enhancements, but nothing overly stylised. Our music of choice is generally cinematic scores, but depending on your preference, we will be able to feature other types of music as well!
why wedding films
You might be wondering - is it worth getting a wedding film? Isn't photography alone enough to capture the day?
While photography remains the priority, there are many things that still images alone won't be able to do justice.
For example - your wedding vows.
As a photographer, I can take dozens of images of you exchanging vows at the altar - but nothing compares to actually hearing and seeing it unfolds. To be able to hear the tremble in the voice, or watch your partner's eyes soften as you meet his eyes at the altar, it's really something that photos alone won't do justice.
Next, is the speeches. You may have hundreds of still images from your family and friends as they roast and reminisce with you - but to be able to hear those speeches again in full? Right now it might not seem like much, but years later, it will be your treasure.
Beside the speeches, other things that should be considered to justify getting a film done is performances and games.
Things like the first dance, bridal entrance and exit, first look by parents or groom, and the craziness of the dance floor are some memories that would be much better captured in a motion picture format.

Which is why, all of our wedding film package will also include a full wedding film in addition to the highlights - which means that you will have the full capture of the vows, speeches, first dance, and any other performances on the day!
discreet filming
Our videographers are also trained to operate discreetly - we will try to film from the background as much as possible to minimise intrusion - while still getting the crucial shots.
Our cameras are fully capable in recording under dim lights - this is because some venues might have beautiful ambient lights, and it is imperative for us to convey this atmosphere in the film as well. Using overly bright light will kill the ambience!
